Inside The ReStore - Our Typical Inventory

You'll never know what you'll find, but you can be sure it'll be just what you need!

Donations Needed

We are always seeking donations of new and used items in good, saleable condition. We accept* furniture - appliances - household items- cabinets - building materials and other items.

Our store depends on your support for donations of re-saleable items. Some donated building materials may be used in our construction projects, but most donated items will be offered for sale at our ReStore.

Donations can be dropped off during operating hours. We will pick up larger items in Chowan or Perquimans Counties. Call us at 252-482-2686 to arrange a pick up - or . For donations in Pasquotank, Camden, Currituck or the Outer Banks, call the Elizabeth City Habitat for Humanity Sale Store, 252-331-2662.

All profits from ReStore sales go to building houses in the Chowan and Perquimans county areas.

*Items we can not accept: clothing, mattresses, box springs, sofa beds and partial cans of paint

We have a metal recycling program! You can participate by saving your metal items and bringing them to our ReStore. We accept all types of metal - steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, etc.

Items can be dropped off at the ReStore any day the store is open - Tuesdays & Thursdays & Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. If you need to drop off on a day the store is not open, you can do that too. Open the gate and leave the items alongside our newly painted storage container next to the dumpster. If the items could be mistaken for a normal, saleable donation we'd appreciate it if you would mark them "Scrap".

Some of the items you might consider bringing are:
  • Aluminum and steel cans - all sizes and types
  • Non-working appliances - washers, dryers, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc
  • Non-working gas powered equipment - lawnmowers, weed-eaters, power washers, etc
  • Non-working metal tools - saws, drills, etc.
  • Cast iron and metal sinks.
  • Any other type of metal - no matter how ugly it may look!
Please invite your neighbors, family and friends to participate, too!
